Our daily Otago Peninsula tours present exciting, memorable wildlife encounters. Find out why overseas visitors have described our wildlife experience as the highlight of their visit to New Zealand. Absolutely unrivalled, up close viewing of Royal albatross, Yellow-eyed and Blue Penguins, NZ Sealions and NZ fur seals and many other waders and seabirds.
‘Peninsula encounters’ tours depart from Dunedin City in the afternoon and return around six hours later in the evening. Tours include lagoon and coastal birdlife and a visit to the royal albatross colony. The remainder of the tour is conducted solely within our private wildlife conservation area in a beautiful beach location.
