Lochmara Lodge is set on the tranquil shores of the Queen Charlotte Sounds. We offer accommodation to trampers, nature lovers and families alike.
We have developed Lochmara Lodge into a Wildlife Recovery and Arts centre. This is a facility for rehabiliting injured wildlife and we have several captive breeding programs in place.
We aim to provide a unique, relaxing and inspiring experience.
Whether you want to take a hike on the Queen Charlotte Track, kayak the enchanted waterways and visit the seals, commorants and blue penguins or explore the character filled property, we cater for every mood.
Lochmara Lodge is easily accessible by water taxi from Picton.
