Wilderness Lodge Lake Moeraki is a 28-room nature Lodge in the untouched rainforest of the South West New Zealand World Heritage Area. Located on the banks of the Moeraki River, close to the lake and the Tasman seacoast, the Lodge offers luxurious comfort and views, gourmet food and wines, warm hospitality, complimentary guest canoes and a variety of shorter and full-day guided rainforest and seacoast walks (including birdwatching). Special birdlife includes Fiordland crested penguin, New Zealand pigeon, New Zealand falcon, tui and fernbird (76 bird species in area).
