Breeding areas
Many islands and two headlands (eg Muriwai) around NZ Coast; Hauraki Gulf - Sugarloaf & High Peak Rocks (poor Knights), Maori Rocks (Mokohinau Islands) and Broken islands (Great Barrier Island); Cape Kidnappers is the Cape Kidnappers is the largest and most accessible gannet colony in the world. Southernmost colony Solanders.

July to January
Dispersal migration
Most juveniles to south & eastern Australia.
