Pukaha Mount Bruce offers magnificent bird viewing opportunities amongst primeval forest with a new kiwi house, home to Manukura, New Zealands only captive white kiwi.Kiwi, kokako, kaka, hihi, takahe, kakariki and whio are highlights of the easy walk around forest paths and wetlands area. Visitors can enjoy tuatara feeds/talk at 11.30, watch wild eels feed at 1.30pm and get breathtakingly close to wild kaka at 3pm feeding.Enjoy the interpretive gallery and three short films in the kiwi house. 

Opening hours (9am - 4.30pm) that last entry to the park is at 4.00pm
